The following operation steps are shown on both body components. In principle, this repair can take place completely or in part. Standard joints and adhesive joints should be used.
- Grind inner and outer mating surfaces on left rear floor connecting part (1a) and right rear floor connecting part (1b) in crosshatched areas down to bare metal.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and weld joints.
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
