Radiator Support Preparation - Ar62.30-P-1500-05RG

The following steps are shown on new parts the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side of the vehicle.

1. Grind mating surfaces for weld joints on radiator support (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Prepare welds by grind down to bare metal with stainless steel brush.

2. Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
3. Grind mating surfaces for weld joints on left bottom support (3) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Prepare welds by grind down to bare metal with stainless steel brush.

4. Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

5. Grind mating surfaces for weld joints on left cross strut (5) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Prepare welds by grind down to bare metal with stainless steel brush.

6. Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

7. Grind mating surfaces for weld joints on left upper bracket (7) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Prepare welds by grind down to bare metal with stainless steel brush.

8. Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

9. Grind mating surfaces for weld joints on left side support (9) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Prepare welds by grind down to bare metal with stainless steel brush.

10. Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
