Model 190
The following operation steps 1 to 7 are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be similarly performed on the right side of the vehicle.
- Heat flow drill screws at A-pillar (2) with heat gun and unscrew (area A).
Flow-drill bolts are bonded and must be heated.
- Scribe separating point on A-pillar (2).
Measure dimension (a) upward from front-end assembly edge (1) at A-pillar (2). Measure dimension (b) forward from A-pillar rear edge (2) at longitudinal member.
- Cut A-pillar (2) at separating point.
Do not cut too deeply. Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.
- Heat A-pillar section (2a) in crosshatched areas with heat gun.
Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.
- Remove damaged A-pillar section (2a).
- Expose weld seams at front-end assembly (1) and cut off (areas B, C and D).
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

The following operation steps 8 to 10 are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be similarly performed on the right side of the vehicle.
- Expose weld seams at strut (3) and cut off (areas E1, E2 and E3).
- Remove damaged strut (3).
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

The following operation steps 11 to 13 are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be similarly performed on the right side of the vehicle.
- Heat flow drill screws at outer longitudinal member cover plate (4) with heat gun and unscrew (area F).
Flow-drill bolts are bonded and must be heated.
- Heat outer longitudinal member cover plate (4) in cross-hatched areas with heat gun.
Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.
- Remove damaged outer longitudinal member cover plate (4).

The following operation steps 14 and 15 are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be similarly performed on the right side of the vehicle.
- Expose weld seam at front-end assembly (1) and cut off (area G).
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

- Heat flow drill screws at left upper firewall (5) with heat gun and unscrew (areas H1, H2 and H3).
Flow-drill bolts are bonded and must be heated.
- Expose weld seam at left upper firewall (5) and cut off (areas I1, I2 and I3).
- Heat left upper firewall (5) in crosshatched areas with heat gun.
Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.
- Remove damaged left upper firewall (5).
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

- Expose weld seams at left lower partition (6) and cut off (area J).
- Remove damaged left lower partition (6).
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

- Heat flow drill screws at right lower cover plate (7) with heat gun and unscrew.
Flow-drill bolts are bonded and must be heated.
- Heat right lower cover plate (7) in cross-hatched areas with heat gun.
Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.
- Remove damaged right lower cover plate (7).

- Expose weld seams at right lower partition (8) and cut off (areas K1 and K2).
- Remove damaged right lower partition (8).
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

- Heat flow drill screws at right cover plate (9) with heat gun and unscrew (area L).
Flow-drill bolts are bonded and must be heated.
- Expose self-pierce rivets and drill off (area M).
- Heat right cover plate (9) in crosshatched areas with heat gun.
Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.
- Remove damaged right cover plate (9).
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

- Heat right lower cover plate (10) in cross-hatched area with heat gun.

- Remove damaged right lower cover plate (10).

- Expose weld seam at front-end assembly (1) and cut off (area N).
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

- Heat flow drill screws at left lower firewall (11) with heat gun and unscrew (area O).
Flow-drill bolts are bonded and must be heated.
- Scribe separating point on left lower firewall (11) (area P).
Measure dimension (c) from first self-pierce rivet at top (see figure).
- Cut left lower firewall (11) at separating point (area P).
Do not cut too deeply. Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.
- Heat section (11a) in cross-hatched areas with heat gun.
Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.
- Remove damaged section (11a).
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

- Heat flow drill screws at left inner cover plate (12) with heat gun and unscrew (cross-hatched area).
Flow-drill bolts are bonded and must be heated.
- Heat left inner cover plate (12) in cross-hatched area with heat gun.
Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.
- Heat damaged left inner cover plate (12).

- Expose weld seams at front-end assembly (1) and cut off (areas QL, RL, SR and TR).
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

- Expose weld seams at front-end assembly (1) all-round and cut off (areas U1, U2, U3, V1, V2 and V3).
- Release damaged front-end assembly (1) from vehicle and remove.
- Level all mating surfaces of cut weld seams at body and grind down to bare metal.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and weld joints.
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
