Mark measuring positions

  1. Mark measuring position of Z-direction (1, 2) on crank window (6) with wax pencil.

NOTES Use depth gauge to measure.

Otherwise the measurement results are not sufficiently accurate.

IMPORTANT Measuring position in Z-direction (1) measured from end of rod in the immersion line, dimension (a) = 160 mm

IMPORTANT Measuring position in Z-direction (2) measured from window edge, dimension (b) = 100 mm

    Checking Z-direction

  2. Open front door (8).
  3. Install immersion depth meter at measuring position of Z-Direction (1, 2).
  4. Close front door (8).
  5. Check immersion depth dimension at measuring position of Z-Direction (1, 2), adjust if necessary.

    IMPORTANT Measuring position of Z-direction (1) = 5, 0 mm (± 1.0 mm)

    IMPORTANT Measuring position of Z-direction (2) = 5, 0 mm (± 1.0 mm)

    Adjusting Z-direction

  6. Remove covers (4).
  7. Adjust height of crank window (6) by turning bolts (5) in appropriate direction (arrows A, B).

IMPORTANT The crank window (6) can be adjusted upwards by turning bolt (5) clockwise (arrow A). The distance increases. The crank window (6) can be adjusted downwards by turning bolt (5) counter-clockwise (arrow B). The distance decreases.

  8. Check adjustment, repeat if necessary.
  9. Install covers (4).
