Front Window Basic Setting - AR72.10-P-1950-06RG

Mark measuring positions 

  1. Mark measuring positions (3A, 3B) on crank window (6) with wax pencil.

    NOTES Use depth gauge to measure.

    Otherwise the measurement results are not sufficiently accurate.

    IMPORTANT Measuring position in X-direction (3A) dimension (c) = 25 mm measured from beltline on door.

    IMPORTANT Measuring position in X-direction (3B) dimension (d) = 30 mm measured from edge of seal.

    Check X-direction 

  2. Completely roll up crank window (6).

    IMPORTANT Measuring position of X-direction, dimension (3A) = 10.0 mm (± 1.0 mm)

  3. Switch off ignition.
  4. Check gap dimension at measuring position X-direction (3A, 3B), adjust if necessary. SPECIAL TOOL

    IMPORTANT Measuring position of X-direction, dimension (3B) = 10.0 mm (± 1.0 mm)

    Adjusting X-direction 

  5. Remove covers (13).
  6. Remove bolts (11, 12).
  7. Position crank window (6).

    IMPORTANT Secure padding on crank window (6) on clamping jaws. Ensure that crank window makes good contact with calmping jaws.

  8. Tighten bolts (11, 12). 7IMPORTANT
  9. Again check gap dimensions (3A, 3B), repeat setting if required. SPECIAL TOOL
