Right Front Door Control Unit, Component Description - GF72.29-P-6009RR
Model 190
The component description of the right door control unit (N69/2) refers to left-hand drive vehicles. Special considerations on right-hand drive vehicles are documented in the wiring diagram.
Show on model 190
Location
The right door control unit is located on the rear door module of the door trim.
Tasks
The right door control unit has the following tasks:
- Reading in of signals
- Evaluation of input factors
- Actuation of components
- Transmitting signals
Reading in of signals
The input factors are read in via the following connections:
- Direct line
- Right door LIN (LIN B6)
- Interior CAN (CAN B)
Direct line
The signals from the following components are read via direct lines:
- Right door lock rotary tumbler switch (A85/1s1)
- Right power window motor Hall sensor (M104)
- Right outside mirror (M21/2):
- Vertical inclination adjustment potentiometer (M21/2r2) (with CODE P64 (Memory package))
- Horizontal inclination adjustment potentiometer (M21/2r3) (with CODE P64 (Memory package))
- Passenger power window switch (S21/2)
- Right front door central locking interior switch (S85/6):
- Open central locking switch (S85/6s1)
- Close central locking switch (S85/6s2)
Right door LIN
The signals for the following components are read in via the right door LIN:
- Right seat adjustment switch group (S23) (with CODE P64 (Memory package)):
- Right seat inclination adjustment switch (S23s2)
- Right seat longitudinal adjustment switch (S23s3)
- Right seat height adjustment switch (S23s4)
- Right backrest adjustment switch (S23s5)
- Right memory function switch (S23s6)
- Right memory switch 1 (S23s7)
- Right memory switch 2 (S23s8)
- Right memory switch 3 (S23s9)
The right front door control unit supplies the connected control elements with c. 58d.
Interior CAN
The following signals, among others, are read in via interior CAN:
- Terminal status of terminal 15
- 'Reverse gear engaged' signal
- Open/close central locking (CL) request
- Crash signal
- Move to short stroke position, request
- PRE-SAFE® adjustment request (with CODE 299 (PRE-SAFE® system))
- Request to move to memory position (with CODE P64 (Memory package))
The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).
Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
Actuation of components
The following components are actuated via direct lines:
- Right door central locking motor (A85/1m1)
- Right outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/6)
- Right power window motor
- Right outside mirror:
- Right outside mirror ambient lamp (M21/2e1)
- Left blind spot assist warning lamp (M21/2e2) (with CODE 22P (Lane package))
- Mirror dimming (M21/2h1) (with CODE P49 (Mirror package))
- Vertical inclination adjustment actuator motor (M21/2m1)
- Horizontal inclination adjustment actuator motor (M21/2m2)
- Outside mirror fold in/out electric motor (M21/2m3) (with CODE P49 (Mirror package))
- Mirror heater (M21/2r1)
Transmitting signals
The following signals are also sent over the interior CAN:
- Convenience feature mode
- Convenience feature direction
- Status of CL
- Door status (open/closed)
The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).
