Install antenna wiring harness
- Detach bracket (10) from left sidewall and lay down with connected lines.
- Disconnect black 1-pin connector (7.1) of vehicle-side cellular telephone system antenna line (7) at mobile phone and stationary heater radio remote control antenna splitter (A2/53).
- Disconnect green 1-pin plug (13.1) and blue 1-pin plug (13.2) at mobile phone and stationary heater radio remote control antenna splitter (A2/53).
- Strap down green 1-pin plug (13.1) and blue 1-pin plug (13.2) with felt tape.
The green 1-pin plug (13.1) and the blue 1-pin plug (13.2) are no longer required.
- Detach mobile phone and stationary heater radio remote control antenna splitter (A2/53) at bracket (10).
The mobile phone and stationary heater radio remote control antenna splitter (A2/53) is no longer required.
- Disconnect black 1-pin connector (14.1) from cellular telephone system antenna amplifier/compensator (A28/3).
- Strap down black 1-pin connector (14.1) with felt tape.
Black 1-pin connector (14.1) is no longer required.
- Bond cellular telephone system splitter (2) with double-sided adhesive tape as shown at bracket (10) and secure with a cable tie.
- Connect black 1-pin connector (8.1) of antenna line (8) to 1-pin plug marked with an antenna symbol of cellular telephone system antenna amplifier/compensator (A28/3).
- Connect black 1-pin plug (9.1) of antenna line (9) to black 1-pin connector (7.1) of vehicle-side cellular telephone system antenna line (7) and secure antenna line (9) at existing lines with cable ties.
- Install bracket (10) at left sidewall.
- Wrap felt tape around antenna line (3) over entire length.
- Connect violet 1-pin connector (3.1) to violet 1-pin plug of In Car Hotspot (1).
- Route antenna line (3) under floor covering and in cable duct as shown to cellular telephone system splitter (2) and secure with felt tape and cable ties.
- Connect black 1-pin connector (3.2) at black 1-pin plug of cellular telephone system splitter (2).
- Strap down excess length of antenna line (3) and connect to existing lines with cable ties.
Install power supply wiring harness
- Connect white 4-pin connector (6.1) of power supply line (6) to white 4-pin plug of In Car Hotspot (1).
- Route brown line (BN) under floor covering and in cable duct as shown to left rear seat ground point (W17/1), secure with felt tape and cable ties and screw on round cable lug.
- Route red/yellow line (RDYE) with red fuse carrier (5) and black/yellow line (BKYE) as shown to rear fuse box (F4) and secure with felt tape and cable ties.
- Insert red fuse carrier (5) into slot marked with "S15" on rear fuse box (F4).
- Insert a fuse with a fuse rating of 5 A in the red fuse carrier (5).
- Insert contact spring of black/yellow line (BKYE) at yellow 7-pin fuse carrier (12), depending on availability, in contact cavity (arrow A) of electrical fuse 133 (F4f133) or in contact cavity (arrow B) of electrical fuse 137 (F4f137).
- Insert a fuse with a fuse rating of 5 A in slot of electrical fuse 133 (F4f133) or slot of electrical fuse 137 (F4f137).
- Insert white jumper (11) in slot marked with "I" on rear fuse box (F4).
