Install wiring harness antenna
- Detach bracket (10) from left sidewall and place downwards with connected lines.
- Disconnect black 1-pin connector (7.1) of vehicle-side cellular telephone system antenna line (7) from 1-pin plug marked with an antenna symbol of cellular telephone system antenna amplifier/compensator (A28/3).
- Stick cellular telephone system splitter (2) to bracket (10) using double-sided adhesive tape, as shown, and fix in place using a cable tie.
- Connect black 1-pin connector (8.1) of antenna line (8) to 1-pin plug marked with an antenna symbol of cellular telephone system antenna amplifier/compensator (A28/3).
- Connect black 1-pin plug (9.1) of antenna line (9) to black 1-pin connector (7.1) of vehicle-side cellular telephone system antenna line (7) and fix antenna line (9) in place at existing lines using cable ties.
- Mount bracket (10) to left sidewall.
- Wrap felt tape around entire length of antenna line (3).
- Connect violet 1-pin connector (3.1) to violet 1-pin plug of In Car Hotspot (1).
- Route antenna line (3) under floor covering and in cable duct, as shown, to cellular telephone system splitter (2) and fix in place using felt tape and cable ties.
- Connect black 1-pin connector (3.2) to black 1-pin plug of cellular telephone system splitter (2).
- Strap down excess length of antenna line (3) and fasten to existing lines using cable ties.
Install power supply wiring harness
- Connect white 4-pin connector (6.1) of power supply line (6) to white 4-pin plug of In Car Hotspot (1).
- Route brown line (BN) under the floor covering and in cable duct, as shown, to the left rear seat ground point (W17/1), secure using felt tape and cable ties and screw on round cable lug.
- Route red/yellow line (RDYE) with red fuse carrier (5) and black/yellow line (BKYE), as shown, to rear fuse box (F4) and fix in place using felt tape and cable ties.
- Plug red fuse carrier (5) into slot marked "S15" of rear fuse box (F4).
- Insert a fuse with a fuse rating of 5 A in the red fuse carrier (5).
- Insert contact spring of black/yellow line (BKYE) at yellow 7-pin fuse carrier (12), depending on availability, in the contact cavity (arrow A) of electrical fuse 133 (F4f133) or in the contact cavity (arrow B) of electrical fuse 137 (F4f137).
- Insert a fuse with a fuse rating of 5 A into the slot for electrical fuse 133 (F4f133) or the slot for electrical fuse 137 (F4f137).
- Insert white jumper (11) into slot marked with "I" of rear fuse box (F4).
