Remove/Install Wiper Arm - AR82.30-P-6100GQB

Model 166 as of 8/25/11, 292 except code 874 (MAGIC VISION CONTROL incl. heated windshield washer system)

	Injury hazard  from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.	When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch on ignition, move left wiper arm (11) and right wiper arm (13) to park position
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2m)
3	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position	Model 166 as of 8/25/11 except code 874 (MAGIC VISION CONTROL incl. heated windshield washer system)	AR88.40-P-1000GQ
	Left wiper arm (11)
4	Remove wiper arm cover (1) from left wiper arm (11)
5	Remove cover (3) from nut (2) on left wiper arm (11)
6	Unscrew nut (2) on left wiper arm (11)	Nut on wiper motor shaft	*BA82.30-P-1002-01J
7	Remove left wiper arm (11)	Position left wiper arm (11) so that the distance dimension (A) is approx. 30 mm. Thrust washer M 10x1.5	Fig 1

8	Remove covers (3) from nuts (2) on right wiper arm (13)
9	Unscrew nuts (2) on right wiper arm (13)	Nut on wiper motor shaft	*BA82.30-P-1002-01J
10	Remove right wiper arm (13)	Position right wiper arm (13) with aid of window markings (arrows). Thrust washer M 10x1.5	Fig 1

11	Install in the reverse order
