| 1 | Switch on ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||

| 4 | Remove cover below dashboard on left (7) | AR68.10-P-1500GQ | |
| 5 | Remove COMAND controller unit (1) until electrical connector (2) at back of the device is accessible | AR82.60-P-7502GQ | |
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connection (2) | ||
| 7 | Cut through electrical line (3) of Bluetooth antenna (6) at both ends as close as possible to the instrument panel wiring harness | ||
| 8 | Remove cut off section of the factory installed electrical line (3) | ||
| 9 | Unclip and remove Bluetooth antenna (6) from instrument panel crossmember | ||
| Install | |||
| 10 | Clip in new Bluetooth antenna (6) at instrument panel crossmember | ||
| 11 | Route electrical line (3) of new Bluetooth antenna (7) along instrument panel wiring harness to device installation slot of COMAND controller unit (1) and fix in place with cable ties | ||
| 12 | Connect electrical connector (2) of electrical line (3) to bushing of COMAND controller unit (1) | ||
| 13 | Install COMAND controller unit (1) | AR82.60-P-7502GQ | |
| 14 | Install cover below instrument panel (7) at left | AR68.10-P-1500GQ | |
