Perform Software Update Of E-Call Russia Control Unit - AR82.95-P-0052NKA

  Perform update     
1 Take micro SD card out of insertion slot (4) and store in a secure location If installed.
IMPORTANT When slight pressure is applied to the back of the micro SD card, it slides out of the housing a short distance and can be removed.
 
2 Switch on ignition NOTES
Once flashing has started, it may not be interrupted. The SD card may not be removed if indicator lamps (2) are illuminated or flashing.
Otherwise, the eCall Russia (GLONASS) control unit (N167) will not work properly or not at all and there is the risk that the SD card becomes unusable.
 
3 Insert the micro SD card with the update, with the pins facing up, into the insertion slot (4) on the side of the eCall Russia (GLONASS) control unit (N167) NOTES
During the update, the three indicator lamps (2) of the eCall Russia (GLONASS) control unit (N167) light up alternately from left to right or from right to left. This process may not be interrupted and takes approximately 10 minutes.
Otherwise, the eCall Russia (GLONASS) control unit (N167) will not work properly or not at all and there is the risk that the SD card becomes unusable.
IMPORTANT The card only fits into the device in one direction. The card must be inserted and pushed across a small resistance towards the end, then snaps in place and is flush with the housing.
IMPORTANT After the insertion, an announcement is made stating that the update is being started.
IMPORTANT At the end of the update, another announcement is made and the red indicator lamp lights up.
 
    IMPORTANT A system check is performed. At the end of the check, the indicator lamps (2) go out.  
4 Remove the micro SD card from the insertion slot (4) IMPORTANT When slight pressure is applied to the back of the micro SD card, it slides out of the housing a short distance and can be removed.  
5 Perform a systems reset IMPORTANT To do so, the two buttons (1 and 3) must be pressed and held at the same time. After a few seconds, an announcement is made that the reset was done.  
6 Switch off ignition    
7 Insert the micro SD card that was removed in the beginning back into the insertion slot (4) If installed.
IMPORTANT The card only fits into the device in one direction. The card must be inserted and pushed across a small resistance towards the end, then snaps in place and is flush with the housing.
