	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Connect diagnostic system and save basic data of overhead control panel (1) control unit	Only when replacing the overhead control panel (1) control unit.	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2	Switch on ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)
3	Unclip overhead control panel (1) at rear from headliner and carefully swivel forwards until the electrical connectors (2) are accessible	Ensure that retaining clips (4) on overhead control panel (1) are correctly seated. Mounting wedge	Fig 1
4	Disconnect electrical connectors (2) from overhead control panel (1)
5	Pull overhead control panel (1) out of supports on guides (3) and remove	Ensure that guides (3) are correctly seated in headliner.
6	Install in the reverse order
	Initial startup
7	Transfer previously stored basic data onto overhead control panel (1) control unit	Only when replacing the overhead control panel (1) control unit.	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
8	Perform initial startup of overhead control panel (1) control unit	Only when replacing the overhead control panel (1) control unit.
