Remove Outer Rear Wheel Well - Ar63.10-P-0660-01GQX

Model 166.8 

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Scribe separating point on outer rear wheel well (1) and cut (area C).

   Dimensions: 

   a =20 mm

2. Expose spot welds on outer rear wheel well (1) and cut out (areas A and B).

3. Scribe separating point on outer rear wheel well (1) and cut (area C).
4. Expose spot welds on outer rear wheel well (1) and cut out (areas D, E and F).
5. Remove damaged outer rear wheel well (1).

6. Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

7. Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
8. Coat insides of spot welding flanges with zinc dust paint.
