Location
The inside rearview mirror is located at the top in the center of the windshield frame.
Task
The inside mirror serves primarily for monitoring the traffic in the rear. Depending on the equipment, the components integrated into the inside rearview mirrors allow the following functions:
- Voice input for telephone calls and voice control
- Surroundings illumination and reading illumination of interior lighting
- Garage door opener (with CODE 231 (Garage door opener) or CODE 232 (Garage door opener))
- Inside rearview mirror dimming (with CODE (249) Automatically dimming mirror)
