	Remove
1	Lift vehicle with lifting platform.

2	Remove hub caps.	Vehicles with hub caps.
3	Unscrew Wheel bolts and remove Wheel and tire assemblies.	For model 166 and vehicles with code (B07) Ceramic brake system, remove Wheel-and-tire assembly using Wheel lift only. The brake disks and complete Wheels can otherwise be damaged.
	Check
4	Check tires for damage and condition.		AP40.10-P-4051EW
	Install
5	Clean and check components of Wheel threaded connections, and protect against corrosion.

		Before mounting a Wheel-and-tire assembly conduct all the operation steps listed in the linked description carefully. The complete Wheel can otherwise work its way loose from the vehicle.
		Paste, hot lubrication 1 kg, DBL 6879.20	*BR00.45-Z-1005-06A
6	Swap over Wheel and tire assemblies on front and rear axle.	On vehicles without mixed tires. Note running direction of Wheel-and-tire assemblies. Otherwise, handling characteristics and handling comfort may be impaired and tire wear increased. Change Wheel and tire assemblies if necessary, subject to separate repair order.
7	Mount Wheel and tire assemblies and tighten Wheel bolts.	For model 166 and vehicles with code (B07) Ceramic brake system, mount Wheel-and-tire assembly using Wheel lift only. The brake disks and complete Wheels can otherwise be damaged. Observe the tightening sequence (1 to 5) and tightening torque.

8	Lower vehicle.

9	Correct tire pressure of tires on front and rear axle.		AP40.15-P-4061A
		If an unusual tire pressure loss occurs, ↓ determine cause and correct. After obtaining special order.
10	Install hub caps.	Vehicles with hub caps. Check for correct positioning of hubcap to valve and for correct seating. Otherwise the valve will be damaged or the hubcap will be lost.
11.1	Activate tire pressure monitoring system.	Only vehicles with CODE 475 (Tire pressure monitor)

11.2	Activate tire pressure loss warning system.	Only vehicles except CODE 475 (Tire pressure monitor)
