	Remove/install
1.1	Remove daytime running lamps headlamp	For removal of left outer front parking system distance sensor (B8/1), left center front parking system distance sensor (B8/2), right center front parking system distance sensor (B8/5) and right outer front parking system distance sensor (B8/6). Model 166.0 (except 166.074) up to model year 2016 with code 220 (PARKTRONIC system (PTS)) Model 166.8 (except 166.874) up to model year 2016 with code 220 (PARKTRONIC system (PTS)) : The outer and center distance sensors (B8/1), (B8/2), (B8/5) and (B8/6) may not be swapped over. 1.2	Remove front bumper	For removal of left inner front parking system distance sensor (B8/3) or right inner front parking system distance sensor (B8/4). Place front bumper on a clean, soft mat. Otherwise soiling and damage can occur.	AR88.20-P-2000GQ
2	Unfasten clips (3k) and remove impact absorber (3)	For removal of inner distance sensors (B8/3), (B8/4).
	Check
3	Check impact absorber (3) for damage
	General information on the impact absorber	: Replace if damaged.	AH88.20-P-1000-01A
4	Push retaining lugs (1) in direction of arrow and pull corresponding distance sensor (B8/1), (B8/2), (B8/3), (B8/4), (B8/5) or (B8/6) out of bracket (2)	: Ensure correct installation position of decoupling ring (5). Otherwise, the corresponding distance sensor (B8/1), (B8/2), (B8/3), (B8/4), (B8/5) or (B8/6) may malfunction.
5	Disconnect electrical connection (4)
6	Install in the reverse order
	Initial startup
7	Check operational readiness of Parktronic by switching on ignition, engaging reverse gear and releasing parking brake	The PARKTRONIC automatically performs a self-test and the operational readiness is signaled via the warning indicator.
