	Remove/install
1	Remove windshield wiper system.		AR82.30-P-6400GZ
2	Remove upper engine cover.	Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.
3	Remove left partition wall (6).
4	Remove center partition wall (7).
5	Drain coolant at radiator.		AR20.00-P-1142GQ
6	Remove exhaust pressure sensor (B60).		AR07.04-P-0007OGR
7	Release and disconnect electrical connector a exhaust gas recirculation actuator (Y27/9).
8	Remove catalytic converter (2).		AR49.10-P-5501OGR
9	Remove exhaust pipe (3) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.	Replace seals and clamps.
		Clamp, EGR line to exhaust collector pipe	*BA14.20-P-1013-01G
		EGR line to exhaust gas recirculation positioner	*BA14.20-P-1015-01G
		Record plug	Fig 2
10	Remove coolant hose (4) of exhaust gas recirculation actuator from bulkhead (Y27/9) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.		AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
		Collect flowing out coolant in a suitable container.

11	Remove bolts (5).	Pay attention to different lengths of screws.
		Bolt, exhaust gas recirculation positioner to charge air distributor	*BA14.20-P-1002-01G
12	Remove exhaust gas recirculation actuator (Y27/9).	Replace seals.
13	Install in the reverse order.
14	Reset lambda values with diagnostic system.	When replacing the exhaust gas recirculation actuator (Y27/9).

15	Fill in coolant.		AR20.00-P-1142GQ
	Check
16	Check engine cooling system for leak tightness.		AR20.00-P-1010GQ
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. 17	Perform an engine test run and check exhaust gas recirculation actuator (Y27/9) for function and leaktightness.
18	Install upper engine cover.
