- Warm up engine to normal operating temperature.
- Pull dipstick out of guide tube and clean.
Vehicle must be horizontal and standing on its wheels.
This prevents measurement errors occurring.
- Insert dipstick fully and leave in this position for at least 3 seconds.
- Pull dipstick out of guide tube and read off oil level.
if necessary pour in oil up to the marking "Max".
Check for correct seating of the dipstick after completing the oil check.
