The DVD player is used for the following applications:

- "AUX"

Usage also includes management of the audio and video sources as well as connection detection (recognition) The following audio or video sources are available:

A media source of the COMAND controller unit can only be used via "COMAND" if it was previously enabled at the COMAND controller unit via the menu entry "Active source for rear" for rear entertainment.
There is no connection detection for media sources connected via "AUX"; these media sources must always be selected manually.
