1. Cut back adhesive material residues (1, 2) on body flange to a residual height of max. 1 mm with a scraper.
2. Remove cut off adhesive material residues (1, 2) from the body flange.
3. Check body flange for paint damage.

   If there is a problem, repair paint damage on body flange.

4. Apply primer in the respective adhesive area.

   Only if adhesive material residues (1, 2) in the adhesive area are missing.
