Notes on removal/installation of bonded elements of panoramic roof

AH77.21-P-0001-01A

1. Cut back adhesive beads on the bonding surfaces (1) to a residual height of approx. 1 mm to a maximum of 2 mm and do not completely detach cut off residual pieces of the adhesive beads.

   A maximum of 2 mm of the adhesive beads may remain.

2. Clean the residual adhesive bead with cleaner.

   The cleaner is included in the repair kit.

3. Check panorama roof frame for paint damage.

   Only use primer fillers approved by Daimler AG: https://xentryportaLi.daimler.com 

   If there is a problem,

   ↓

   Repair paint damage on panorama roof frame.

4. Apply primer to the bonding surfaces (1).

   Only on the bonding surfaces (1) on which no adhesive material residues are present.

   Use only the manufacturer-approved repair kit from the spare part system.

   Otherwise, adhesion problems will occur.

   The primer is included in the repair kit.
