Location 

The central locking actuator for the tank cap/socket flap is located on the tank filler or socket recess on the lock side of the tank or socket flap.

Structure 

The following components are installed in the fuel filler cap/socket flap central locking system actuator:

• Microswitch
• Actuator motor
• Catch bolt

Task 

The fuel filler cap/socket flap central locking system has the following tasks:

• Detection of the opening request via the status of the microswitch when the tank or socket flap is pressed
• Releasing and locking the fuel filler flap or socket flap by actuating the actuator motor
