	Remove
1	Remove lower trim on B-pillar
		In doing so, only unclip and loosen upper trim of B-pillar.	AR68.30-P-4700GQ
2	Remove edge guard (1) in area of outer door sills at front entrances
3	Remove outer door sills at front entrances
		The outer door sills are no longer required	AR88.80-P-1001GQ
4	Remove right side of panel in trunk
			AR68.30-P-4800GQX
5	Fold second seat row toward front
6	In the EPC in design group 99, check whether the rear control unit installed in accordance with the vehicle equipment can be used for retrofitting the illuminated door sill moldings	If the rear control unit has to be removed, then this is no longer required. With compatible rear control unit: ↓ Expose rear control unit until electrical connectors are accessible. With incompatible rear control unit: ↓ Remove rear control unit.

9	Install remaining parts
10	Remove protective foil at left front illuminated door sill molding (E17/47) and right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48)
	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
11	Attach note "Illuminated door sill moldings retrofitted as per AN82.20-P-0001GQX " under field organization texts to design group 54 and design group 68
12	Connect diagnostic system and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)

13	Carry out variant coding using software calibration number (SCN)	Rear control unit
14	Disconnect diagnostic system
