The following work procedure is shown on the vehicle without headliner. Removal of the headliner is not required.

1. Wrap felt tape around antenna line (1) over entire length.
2. Connect violet 1-pin connector (1.1) of antenna line (1) through opening of dome lamp in rear to violet connector of multifunction antenna (A28/11).
3. Route antenna line (1) along existing lines from multifunction antenna (A28/11) to left rear entrance and secure with cable ties.

   Route antenna line (1) behind windowbag (2).

   Otherwise windowbag (2) may malfunction.

4. Fold back left front floor covering (3) and remove step plate (4).

5. Route antenna line (1) from left rear entrance into left front footwell.

   Route antenna line (1) on cable ducts and beneath the rear floor coverings.

6. Route antenna line (1) beneath left front floor covering (3) along existing lines into COMAND controller unit mounting slot.

   Use pull-through device (5).

7. Install step plate (4) and fold back left front floor covering (3).
