Install Front Fixed Element Of Panoramic Sliding Sunroof - AR77.21-P-0803-05GQ

Model 166 with code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof) 

Use only the manufacturer-approved repair kit from the spare part system.

Otherwise, adhesion problems will occur.

Install the front fixed element (1) as soon as you have applied the adhesive to the body. Otherwise, the front fixed element (1) and body flange may not adhere properly.

1. With the aid of a helper, position the front fixed element (1) over the roof cutout, carefully place it on the adhesive bead and apply gently pressure.
2. Remove the tape (2) that fixes the sealing lip of the windshield.
3. Align the front fixed element (1) for the roof paneling, windshield and front panoramic sliding sunroof as per the dimensions noted before it was removed.

   Ensure that the front fixed element (1) for the front panoramic sliding sunroof is flush laterally (arrow A).

4. Adjust the height of the front fixed element (1) for the windshield and front panoramic sliding sunroof by applying pressure as per the dimensions noted.

   Carefully remove contamination caused by adhesive immediately.

5. Carefully remove the cup suction tool.
6. Put loads on front stationary element (1) during curing time of adhesive.

   Use flat weights, e. g. sandbags. Otherwise, the front fixed element (1) may be damaged.
