The headlamp adjuster is to be aligned between 10 cm and 30 cm in front of the headlamp, parallel to the front of the vehicle level with the light source.
Before checking the main headlamps and front fog lamps, the respective inclination dimension must be set on the headlamp aimer scale.
For headlamp adjusters with a cm scale, a specified inclination dimension of, for example, 1.25 % is equivalent to a set value of 12.5 cm on the scale.
For headlamp adjusters with a % scale, a specified inclination dimension of, for example, 1.25 % is also equivalent to a set value of 1.25 % on the scale.
All regulations and specifications in the operating instructions from the headlamp aimer manufacturer must be observed accordingly.
