Remove/Install Engine From/Onto Front Axle Carrier - AR01.10-P-2510OMD

ENGINES 651 in MODELS 166, 204.9, 212 

	Remove/install
1	Attach engine hoist to engine lifting eyes	Load regulator
2	Remove tensioning strap for engine-transmission unit
3	Secure front axle carrier on portable lifting platform with tensioning strap against slipping and falling down	vehicle lift for major assemblies/scissors-type pallet forklift
4	Lift engine with a suitable lifting device and engine hoist	Only raise engine far enough until chain on the engine hoists to be lightly tensioned. Load regulator Boom crane
5	Remove front axle shafts	Model 204.98/99, 212.08/09/28/29	AR33.30-P-0620CWX
6	Unfasten drive shaft on output flange to front axle on transfer case	Model 166 Mark position of the propeller shaft on the output flange. : Observe the tightening procedure for the rear propeller shaft.	AR41.10-P-0070GQ
7	Remove screw/bolt (1) from left and right engine mount (2)	Model 166	*BA22.10-P-1002-03G
		Model 172	*BA22.10-P-1001-03E
		Model 204, 212	*BA22.10-P-1001-03E
8	Lift off engine/transmission unit from front axle carrier	Carefully raise engine transmission unit. Damage could occur on the engine oil pan otherwise. : Ensure that engine mount (2) is seated correctly in the catches on the front axle carrier.
9	Install in the reverse order
