Remove And Install Wiper Arm - AR82.30-P-6100GZ

MODEL 164 up to 8/24/11, 166 up to 8/24/11

	Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.	When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch on ignition, move driver-side wiper arm (1) and passenger-side wiper arm (2) to park position
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)
3	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position	Model 164 up to 8/24/11	AR88.40-P-1000GZ
		Model 166 up to 8/24/11	AR88.40-P-1000GQ
	Driver-side wiper arm (1)
4	Fold up cover and unscrew nut (3) on driver side wiper arm (1)	Nut on wiper motor shaft	*BA82.30-P-1002-01J
5	Detach driver-side wiper arm (1) with wiper blade	Position driver-side wiper arm (1) so that the distance dimension (A) is approx. 30 mm. Thrust washer M 10x1.5 Puller	Figure Figure
	Passenger-side wiper arm (2)
6	Remove caps and nuts (4) on passenger-side wiper arm (2)	Nut on wiper motor shaft	*BA82.30-P-1002-01J
7	Detach passenger-side wiper arm (2) with wiper blade	Installation: Position passenger-side wiper arm (2) with aid of window markings (arrows). Thrust washer M 10x1.5 Puller	Figure Figure
8	Install in the reverse order
