Location 

The wiper motor is located on the driver side in the engine compartment in front of the windshield.

Task 

The wiper motor drives the windshield wiper arms. The wiper motor is actuated by the central controller unit (depending on the vehicle, SAM control unit (N10) or front SAM control unit (N10/6)).
