General 

Heating of the spray nozzles and spray nozzle hose prevents the washer fluid from freezing in the spray nozzle hose and the spray nozzles or thaws it out again.

Function requirement 

• Engine running or drive train operational Heat spray nozzles and spray nozzle hose 

Heating of the spray nozzles and the spray nozzle hose is switched on at an outside temperature of less than 5 °C.

During windshield washing, the heating is switched off. The heating is switched on again 5 s after the washing is finished.

If the outside temperature increases to more than 8 °C, the heating is switched off.
