Disconnect Engine Wiring Harness - AR01.00-P-2410-02GQA

ENGINE 651 in MODEL 166.0 

1. Remove cover (20) under front passenger seat.
2. Detach ground line (21) from on-board electrical system battery (G1) and place to one side.

   Insulate connecting point for ground line (21). This avoids unintended contact of the detached ground line (21) with the negative terminal of the on-board electrical system battery (G1).

   Only perform Operation steps 3 to 7 for removal of the engine. 

3. Detach electrical connections (8) on ECU on the vehicle side and place to one side.
4. Detach alternator/starter wiring harness (9) and electric steering wiring harness (11) on prefuse box
5. Disconnect electrical connector (10).
6. Disconnect electrical connections (12, 13) on electric power steering and detach.

   The electrical connections (12, 13) are located on the front axle behind the stabilizer bar.

7. Disconnect electrical connections (5) for switchable engine mount.
