Disconnect Engine Wiring Harness - AR01.00-P-2410-02GQ

ENGINE 276.9 in MODEL 166 

Only perform operation steps 1 to 12 for removal of the engine 

1. Disconnect electrical connection (7) for transmission wiring harness and unclip at shield (22) for high-pressure pump.
2. Remove air inlet box upper section on the right (8).
3. Remove prefuse box (11) cover.
4. Open cable duct on suspension strut support mounting console.
5. Detach alternator/starter wiring harness (9) and electric steering wiring harness (10) at prefuse box.
6. Disconnect Electrical connection (12) for electric steering.
7. Unclip wiring harness (9, 10) on fuse box and on longitudinal member reinforcement at the front.
8. Detach ground line for electric steering on longitudinal member reinforcement at the front.
9. Pass wiring harnesses (9, 10) between suspension strut support mounting console and fuse box and lay on engine.
10. Detach electrical connection (6) on cylinder head cover and disconnect.
11. Disconnect electrical connection (4, 5) on ME-SFI [ME] control unit and place to one side.
12. Unclip vehicle wiring harness (5a) on bracket for the ME-SFI [ME] control unit and oil dipstick guide tube and place to one side.

    Only perform operation steps 13 to 19 for removal of cylinder head covers or rails. 

13. Disconnect electrical connections on LH intake camshaft solenoid (Y49/4) and on LH exhaust camshaft solenoid (Y49/6) or RH intake camshaft solenoid (Y49/5) and on RH exhaust camshaft solenoid (Y49/7).
14. Disconnect electrical connections on LH intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/4) and on LH exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/6) or RH intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/5) and on LH exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/7).
15. Disconnect electrical connections at the ignition coils (T1).
16. Disconnect electrical connections to fuel injectors (Y76).
17. 1. Disconnect electrical connection on fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B4/25).

       During removal of the left cylinder head cover or left rail.

       When removing the right cylinder head cover or right rail.

    2. Detach ground line (34) from cylinder head cover
18. Detach engine wiring harness (41) on the rail.

    : Ensure correct seating of the holding clip (33) on the rail.

19. Lay engine wiring harness (41) aside.
