Location 

The panoramic sliding sunroof roller sunblind drive unit is located on the front roof frame.

Task 

The panoramic sliding sunroof roller sunblind drive unit opens and closes the roller sunblind of the panoramic sliding sunroof.

The panoramic sliding sunroof control unit (N70/1) actuates the panoramic sliding sunroof roller sunblind drive unit.

Structure 

The panoramic sliding roof roller sun blind drive unit has the following elements integrated into it:

• 2 Hall sensors (position feedback and rpm acquisition)
• Roller sunblind motor (drive of redirecting transmission)
• Redirecting transmission (conversion of the rotary movement into linear movement of the drive spindle)
