	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key at a location beyond transmitter range (at least 2 m)
2	Push outer cover (1) out of bracket towards front of vehicle and unclip
3	Squeeze catch tabs (3) together and unclip inner cover (2) from outer cover (1) in direction of arrow (A)
4	Remove outer cover (1)
5	Disconnect electrical connection at inner cover (2) and remove inner cover (2)
6	Unclip trim on inside rearview mirror (7)
7	Disconnect electrical connection (5) from multifunction camera control unit (4)
8	Pull electrical wiring harnesses (6) slightly out of headliner	In order to provide space for removal of the multifunction camera control unit (4).
9	Unclip multifunction camera control unit (4) on both sides at arrow (B)	Mounting wedge	Fig 1
10	Guide multifunction camera control unit (4) out of guides on both sides at arrow (C) toward front of vehicle and remove in downward direction
11	Install in the reverse order
	Initial startup
12	Perform SCN coding of multifunction camera control unit (4)	Only when replacing the multifunction camera control unit (4).	AR54.21-P-0015X
13	Connect diagnostic system and perform initial startup of multifunction camera control unit (4)	Only when replacing the multifunction camera control unit (4).	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
