| 1 | Bring ignition lock into position "0" | ||
| 2 | Fold seat cushion on right rear seat forwards | ||
| 3 | Fold back and lift floor covering | ||
| 4 | Unclip lock (arrow) on right of bracket (1) and remove electric parking brake control unit (N128) far enough from bracket (1) to gain access to the electrical connection (2) | ||
| 5 | Detach electrical connection (2) from electric parking brake control unit (N128) | ||
| 6 | Remove electric parking brake control unit (N128) | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 8 | Perform initial startup of electric parking brake control unit (N128) using diagnostic system | After replacing the electric parking brake control unit (N128). | |
