| 1 | Release parking brake | Only if removing brake disk (3) at the rear axle. | |
| 2.1 | Detach brake caliper (1) or brake caliper support from steering knuckle or wheel carrier on front axle | When removing brake disk (3) on front axle. Do not kink brake hose or subject it to tension and fasten brake caliper (1) free of tension at vehicle. Otherwise the brake hose will be damaged. |
