Remove/Install Oil Pump From Transmission Housing - AR27.10-P-0400-02EWM

Remove oil pump
- Attach upright M8 (7) and upright M6 (8) of the
removal and installation tool (11) as shown.
- Insert thrust piece (05) into clamping pliers (02) and secure using spring pin (04).
- Place bridge (01) and secure with knurled nut (12).
- Place thrust piece (05) on the oil pump (10) by turning it at the spindle (03).
Ensure that the thrust piece (05) is correctly seated.
Otherwise the oil pump (10) can be damaged.
- Press oil pump (10) downward up to end stop by turning it at the spindle (03).
- Remove retaining ring (13).
- Unlock spring pin (04) and remove thrust piece (05) out of clamping pliers (02).
- Place clamping pliers (02) onto drive of oil pump (10) and secure with spring pin (04).
- Pull oil pump (10) out of torque converter housing (1) by turning it at the spindle (03).
- Remove bridge (01) with oil pump (10).
- Unlock spring pin (04) and pull out oil pump (10) from tension spring.
Install oil pump
- Insert oil pump (10).
Apply oil to O-rings of oil pump (10).
- Insert thrust piece (05) into clamping pliers (02) and secure using spring pin (04).
- Place bridge (01) and secure with knurled nut (12).
- Place thrust piece (05) on the oil pump (10) by turning it at the spindle (03).
Otherwise the oil pump (10) can be damaged.
- Press oil pump (10) downward up to end stop by turning it at the spindle (03).
- Install retaining ring (13).
- Remove thrust piece (05) from the oil pump (10) by turning it at the spindle (03).
