The union nuts for the low-pressure line (1a) and high-pressure line (1b) may only be tightened with a torque after installation of the low-pressure line (1a) and high-pressure line (1b).
Leaks can occur otherwise.
Do not kink or bend low-pressure line (1a) and high-pressure line (1b).
Leaks can occur otherwise.
- Loosely mount low pressure line (1a) on high-pressure pump (2) and on the left cylinder head cover.
- Loosely mount high-pressure line (1b) on left rail (1l) and right rail (1r) and on high-pressure pump (2).
- Mount clamps (6) for low-pressure line (1a) and the high-pressure line (1b) on the cylinder head covers
.
Clamps (6) must be aligned before screwing on.
Pay attention to correct routing of the low-pressure line (1a) and the high-pressure line (1b).
- Tighten union nuts with torque
Comply with the tightening torques exactly.
Leaks can occur otherwise.
