| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove left charge air temperature sensor (B17/14) from charge-air distributor (2) | ||
| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) and remove left charge air temperature sensor (B17/14) upward | ||
| 3 | Seal opening on charge-air distributor (2) with a suitable stop plug | Fig 2 | |
| 4 | Check the sealing ring of the charge-air temperature sensor on the left (B17/14) for damage | If damaged ↓ Replace the charge-air temperature sensor on the left (B17/14) |

| 5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 6 | Read out and erase fault memory | ||
