In-Car Hotspot, general
The In-Car Hotspot function allows users in the vehicle to use the Internet wirelessly on mobile terminals; this is realized by the head unit. The head unit as a Wireless Access Point (WAP) exchanges data with the mobile terminals via the WLAN antenna and routes the signals to the Internet.
To connect the mobile terminal, the user must search for networks (Wireless Local Area Network) on the mobile terminal and select the head unit network.
Several devices can be connected simultaneously.
