	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Unclip cover strip from armrest	MODEL 156, 176

2	Remove bolts (1)
3	Remove door lining (4) from inner sealing rail (5) by hand starting at front, simultaneously remove retainer (6)
4	Unclip door lining (4) from mounting clips (7) on front door (8)	Unclip door lining (4) by hand. The door lining (4) can be damaged when using the assembly wedge. Check mounting clips (7) for damage, replace if necessary.
5	Horizontally loosen door lining (4) to side from front door (8). Guide lock button (9) out of door lining (4)	Loosen door lining (4) from front door (8) until electrical connectors (10) on left front door control unit (N69/1) or right front door control unit (N69/2) and inside door opener Bowden cable (11) are accessible. Ensure that door lining (4) is seated correctly in inner sealing frame (5).
6	Disconnect electrical connectors (10) from left front door control unit (N69/1) or right front door control unit (N69/2)
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
7	Unhook inside door opener Bowden cable (11) from inner door handle (12)
8	Remove door lining (4)
9	Install in the reverse order
