	Installing, removing
	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects.	Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.	AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
1	Lift/jack up vehicle		AR00.60-P-1000G
2	Remove underride guard	Aid of helper required.
3	Unscrew nuts (1) and remove screw/bolts from transmission bell		*BA27.40-P-1001-01E
4	Remove cover (2) from crankcase
	Checking
5	Check splines of ring gear for drive plate	Check splines for wear and damage by rotating engine at the center bolt for crankshaft in its direction of rotation. Replace clutch plate if necessary: ↓
		Remove/install clutch plate	AR03.30-P-8001GW

6	Insert retaining lock (01) into access opening	If required, rotate engine further at center bolt for crankshaft in engine's direction of rotation until the retaining lock (01) snaps into place.

7	Remove in the reverse order
