	Remove
	Risk of poisoning from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury from skin and eye contact with brake fluid	Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.	AS42.50-Z-0001-01A

1	Remove fixed caliper		AR42.10-P-0105GG
1	Remove fixed caliper	The fixed caliper must not be separated into its two halves as this can result in functional impairment or failure of the brake system.
	Disassemble/assemble
2	Pry off dust cap (45)	Use pliers (026) and appropriate plate (027).

3	Insert metal segment (040) into fixed brake caliper, then carefully press out piston (47) as far as the stop, using compressed air	A section of a brake disk can be used as a metal segment (040).
4	Remove piston (47) with piston-rotating pliers (020)	Pliers	Fig 3
5	Check piston (47) and bore in fixed brake caliper for damage, if necessary replace fixed brake caliper
	Notes if piston or cylinder bore are damaged on fixed or floating caliper		AH42.10-P-9406-03A

6	Remove piston seal (50) from groove in cylinder bore	Coat new piston seal (50) with brake fluid.
7	Assemble in the reverse order
	Install
8	Install fixed brake caliper		AR42.10-P-0105GG
