	Risk of death  caused by limbs being caught  or crushed  by rotating parts when performing tests on the brake test stand	Never leave the vehicle unattended on the rollers except in an emergency. Ensure that no one is under the vehicle or near rotating parts during testing. In case of emergency, use the EMERGENCY STOP switch to shut down test stand.	AS42.00-Z-0001-01A

	Checking
1	Check brake lining thickness	Brake lining wear limit disk brake/parking brake	*BE42.10-P-1003-10A
		If the minimum lining thickness is reached or dropped below, the brake shoes should be replaced. ↓
		Remove/install parking brake shoes.	AR42.20-P-0530GW
2	Remove trim (2) from hand brake lever	See Remove center console.	AR68.20-P-2000GW
3	Drive the vehicle on to the brake test stand and switch on the brake test stand
4	Fully tighten and release hand brake lever 3-times
5	Apply hand brake lever up to 4th notch
6	Check brake force		*BE42.20-P-1003-01B
		In the event of a complaint about the brake force: ↓ Adjust the brake force by twisting the adjusting nuts (10). Check the brake force again after the adjustment: ↓ Repeat operation steps 4 to 6.
7	Apply and release the hand brake lever fully three times	Once the hand brake lever is released the unobstructed movement of the parking brake must be guaranteed.
8	Slowly apply the hand brake lever fully	In the process the brake force must increase evenly on both sides. If an even brake force is not achieved, the following measures can be used: ↓
		Adjusting parking brake.	AR42.20-P-0540GW
		Replace parking-brake brake shoes.	AR42.20-P-0530GW
		Replace parking brake cables.	AR42.20-P-0541GW
9	Switch off brake test stand
10	Install paneling on hand brake lever	Refer to Install center console.	AR68.20-P-2000GW
