	Remove/install
1	Move steering column to foremost and uppermost position.	Only when removing driver seat.
2	Move front seat (1) backwards and all the way to top.
3	Remove fire extinguisher (4).	Only when removing the driver seat and if a fire extinguisher (4) is installed.
4	Remove screws (2) from guide rails.	Bolt, front seat (guide rail) to body	*BA91.10-P-1001-01E
5	Move front seat (1) forward and fully downwards.
6	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.		AR54.10-P-0003XG
7	Detach seat belt end fitting (10).		AR91.40-P-1030-02XG
		Bolt on belt end fitting	*BA91.40-P-1001-01C
8	Remove screws (6) from guide rails.	Bolt, front seat (guide rail) to body	*BA91.10-P-1001-01E
9	Tilt back front seat (1).
10	Disconnect electrical connectors and pneumatic line on underside of front seat (1).	The number of electrical connectors and the installation position of the pneumatic line depend on the vehicle equipment.
11	Cover center console, steering wheel, door entrance and door sill.
12	Remove front seat (1) from vehicle.	Remove the front seat (1) from the vehicle carefully. Otherwise adjacent components of the vehicle will be damaged. Ensure that lock pins of guide rails in vehicle floor are seated correctly. A helper is required here.
13	Put down front seat (1) and secure it against tipping over.
14	Detach covers (3, 5).	Only when carrying out other work on the front seat (1). Ensure that the covers (3, 5) are seated correctly.
15	Transfer seat travel limiter.	Only when replacing the front seat (1). Pry seat travel limiter out of retaining clip on old front seat (1) and install in new front seat (1).
16	Install in reverse order.
