1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

3	Remove tow-away protection control unit		AR54.21-P-0011GW
4	Unscrew emergency tensioning retractor (ETR [GUS]) with airbag (AB) control unit (N2/2) from body and remove
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
		Make sure that the ground line is secured properly to the restraint systems control unit ground (W26) on the emergency tensioning retractor (ETR [GUS]) with airbag (AB) control unit (N2/2) (under the right front corner). Otherwise, correct operation of the emergency tensioning retractor (ETR [GUS]) with airbag (AB) control unit (N2/2) cannot be guaranteed. 5	Release and disconnect electrical connector on emergency tensioning retractor (ETR [GUS]) with airbag (AB) control unit (N2/2)
6	Install in the reverse order
	Initial startup
7	Perform initial startup of emergency tensioning retractor (ETR [GUS]) with airbag (AB) control unit (N2/2)	When replacing the emergency tensioning retractor (ETR [GUS]) with airbag (AB) control unit (N2/2).
