1	Detach ground line from battery	Model 463 (except 463.234/236/241/242/248) as of model year 2013 up to model year 2019	AR54.10-P-0003GW
	Notes on battery		AH54.10-P-0001-01A
2	Remove center air vent	Model 463 as of model year 2013 up to model year 2019	AR68.10-P-1150GW
3	Remove bolt (1)
4	Pull out COMAND controller unit (A40/3)	The mounting brackets (2) are loose and can fall down when pulled out.
5	Detach optical fiber connector	Model 463 as of model year 2013 up to model year 2019/Facelift 2012	AR82.95-P-0005-01A
	Notes on fiber optic cable	Do not kink or stretch fiber-optic cable. The fiber-optic cable could be damaged. Fit cover caps on optical connector and equipment connection.	AH82.70-P-0001-02A
6	Disconnect electrical connectors
7	Remove screws (3) and remove upper control panel control unit (N72/1)	When replacing the COMAND controller unit (A40/3).
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Read out and clear the fault memory using Star Diagnosis
