Media Oriented System Transport (MOST)
The digital TV tuner is a participant of the MOST, via which it communicates with the COMAND controller unit (A40/3).
Demodulating and decoding signals
The TV signals that are received via the antenna amplifier are evaluated internally and separated into video and audio signals.

MOST
The TV digital tuner is a subscriber of the MOST, via which it communicates with the COMAND controller unit. The audio signals are transmitted to the COMAND controller unit or to the sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) (with code EU9 (Harman Kardon® Logic 7® surround sound system)).
Body
With code ZJ1 (Version for Japan), the digital TV tuner is supplied with a "B-CAS card". The "B-CAS card" is designed as a subscriber identification module (SIM) card and is inserted in the SIM card reader. The SIM card reader has no cover.
