The following operation steps are shown on model 463 on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Install firewall paneling (1), fit and fix in place.

   Center firewall paneling (1) on through hole for wiper linkage (arrow).

2. Tack firewall paneling (1) (areas A, B, C and D).

3. Firewall paneling (1) (areas A, B, C and D).

   Weld in intervals, allow to cool down in between to minimize heat distortion (areas A, B, C and D).

4. Clean weld joints.
5. Grind firewall paneling (1) down flat in cross-hatched areas.
6. Restore surface and smooth.

7. Install ground bolt (3) on firewall paneling (1) and fix in place.
8. Ground bolt (3) on firewall paneling (1) (area E).

   Inert gas plug weld ground bolt (3) to firewall paneling (1) from the inside.

9. Clean weld joint
10. Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
11. Straighten folded sealing bar (2) in repair area once more (arrows).
