	Removing
1	Remove rear-end door paneling
2	Remove door catch together with lever.
3	Remove ATA switch and tie coupling back together with wiring harness.	On vehicles with ATA. ATA is operated via door contact switch. Wiring harness with ATA switch is no longer used.
4	Grease ball pin on rear-end door.
5	Loosen latch section (black, on body) and move back.
	Adjust rear-end door.	Model 463	AR72.20-P-1032A
6	Adjust rear-end door in relation to body
	Adjust rear-end door.	Model 463	AR72.20-P-1032A
7	Carefully pull rear-end door first to rear left at top and then to right rear toward inside (stretch).	Only if rear-end door extends too far toward outside at top.
8	Adjust striker of rear-end door lock on rear-end door pillar	Closing and opening force should be as low as possible.
	Adjust rear-end door.	Model 463	AR72.20-P-1032A
9	Drill holes.	See Fig 1.
10	Drill holes.	See Fig 2
11	Deburr holes and evacuate chips.
12	Prime holes with zinc dust paint and perform hollow cavity preservation.
	Install
13	Grease door catch as well as lever and install.
	Rear-end door	Models 461, 463	*BA72.20-P-1002-01A
14	Preinstall plate (A) on gas pressure strut (B).	Short side of plate to gas pressure strut. See Fig 3.
15	Insert gas pressure strut through hole on rear-end door and press ball socket onto ball head.
16	Press gas pressure strut together until plate (A) can be screwed.	See Fig 3.
17	Insert rubber grommet.
18	Install rear-end door paneling.
19	Check ATA function for rear-end door.	On vehicles with ATA. Adjust striker in the event of extreme terrain use.
